My newest obsession is going to waterfalls, or "waterfalling" as it is apparently called. It all started when I found out that there is a beautiful waterfall about 5 minutes from my house.....http://www.cs.utk.edu/~dunigan/landforms/m.php?wpt=WSF001
Well, come to find out, you can't visit that one anymore (because people are idiots and don't respect other people's property) but there are about 100 more within 2 hours of where I live!! So I have made it my mission to visit as many as possible.

My favorite so far is Dudley Falls, but this is probably because it's the only one I've been able to swim in....http://www.cs.utk.edu/~dunigan/landforms/m.php?wpt=GEF002

This last one is me in the swimming hole at the bottom......my fiance managed to get me and not any of the other 20 people that were there that afternoon.

We have also gone to visit Laurel Run Falls, but it was a huge disappointment because we hadn't had any rain. But the picture on the front page of the blog is Upper Laurel Run Falls, and I think it's beautiful, probably the best picture I've ever taken.

On our next day off we're probably going to go back to Laurel Run Park and look at the falls again....there are 2 more in that area I also want to look at.....I'll keep you posted!!
